Meet Dr. Jon Prescott

                  

Dr. Prescott is the Medical Director of the Northern Ohio Regional Cancer Center and is a radiation oncologist.

Dr. Prescott graduated from the Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island in 1990. After that he completed a surgical internship and oncology residency at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Prescott has his specialty medical board certification in radiation oncology from the American Board of Radiation Oncology and has been in practice since 1994. He moved to Pittsburgh in 1994 where Dr. Prescott was the Director of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center St. Margaret Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at UPMC. In 1999 Dr. Prescott moved back to the Cleveland area to be closer to family. Between 1999 and 2007 he was the Director of Radiation Oncology at the Southwest General Health Center Ireland Cancer Center. He was an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals. In 2007, he founded the Northern Ohio Regional Cancer Center.

Dr. Prescott is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Radiation Oncology, and the American Urologic Association. He is presently affiliated with University Hospitals Southwest General Health Center, University Hospitals St. John Medical Center, and Lake West Hospital. He is part of the Cleveland Clinic Community Physician Group.
